Please tell us a bit about you.
I am a medium, channel and intuitive artist. I could see, hear, and sense spirits from a young age; however, it was not until I was older that I started to consciously develop and utilize these gifts to pursue my relationship with spirit. I began my journey experimenting with my psychic and mediumship development, which later led me to channeling and trance work, strengthening and deepening by mediumship connections. I recently have started channeling art with messages through spirit for client readings. I call these my “Heart to Art” channeled messages as I believe they are connections with spirit made through the heart and then converted into art messages. Tuning into your energy, spirit reveals to me through art what you may be needing at this time, whether it is a connection with a loved one, intuitive guidance, questions on your life path, or needed words and images for healing.
Why do you channel?
I channel because it lets me connect with spirit on a much deeper level to bring through heart felt messages for my clients. Channeling allows me to connect with my guides to bring through messages I may not normally get through mediumship or psychic readings alone. With channeling, I feel you are able to connect more deeply thus becoming more as one with the spirit you are connecting with. This blending allows for written or oral messages to flow more clearly with fewer interruptions or disconnections from spirit.
Tell us a bit about your channeling.
Channeling art allows me to collaborate with spirit to develop the needed artwork. Each drawing is unique; there is no cookie cutter formula. Spirit is a fabulous teacher and never wastes an image in getting a message across. Each element in the art, from the images drawn, colors used, mood created, sheds meaning on the final message. I have learned to step aside, and simply allow spirit to work through me. Spirit lets me know when the drawing is finished at which point the message is channeled. I am always in awe how the message comes together through the art.
What helped you learn to channel?
Taking classes with experienced teachers and working with other likeminded people helped me to further develop my mediumship and channeling skills by having supportive people to practice on and learn from. I was able to learn to trust and be confident in what I was receiving from spirit.
What advice do you have for people new to channeling?
My advice is to relax, let go of expectations and just allow spirit to work through you to develop your own unique channeling style, whether it’s allowing spirit to speak through you, being a written channel or intuitive artist. Spirit is subtle, don’t wait for a loud booming voice to give you instructions. You will learn how spirit works through you if you are patient. Don’t give up, it takes time to let your gifts unfold. Practice through taking classes and working with supportive people. Challenge yourself beyond your comfort zone. Experiment, trust and have fun with it!
